Imagine yourself trudging through fresh snow as night falls over the peaks. By the flickering light of torches, this guided tour transforms our mountain pasture into a magical theater of light and shadow.
This immersive experience lets you discover the mountain pastures in a magical, intimate atmosphere. Away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes, you’ll explore the secret nooks and crannies of our historic mountain chalet, guided by Valentin, great-grandson of Pépé Nicolas, and co-manager of our establishment. He’s known every path, every nook and cranny since his first steps. The flame of the torches reveals the raw beauty of the winter mountains, creating an atmosphere both mysterious and warm.
As you stroll along, you’ll discover how life is organized at altitude, the daily challenges of running a mountain pasture in winter, and the traditions that have been passed down for generations within our family. It’s an invitation to slow down, observe and experience the mountains in a different way.
And the tour ends in our cheese cellar, where you can experience the life of our cheesemaker and understand how we make our cheeses. And let’s not forget the cheese tasting and the glass of friendship to round things off on a high note.

A visit to our cellar is a sensory journey to the heart of Savoyard cheese-making and gastronomic traditions. This exclusive experience takes you behind the scenes of the conservation and maturing processes for which we are renowned.
In the unique atmosphere of the cellar, where freshness and characteristic aromas reign, you’ll discover the ancestral techniques used to preserve alpine products. We’re passionate about sharing the secrets of cheese-making, maturing methods and the history of recipes handed down from father to son.
This visit allows you to understand the inseparable link between the Belleville terroir, the seasons, and the exceptional quality of the products we serve in the restaurant and sell in the boutique. It’s also an opportunity to appreciate the meticulous work that goes into every Savoyard speciality on our menu.
