Access from Les Menuires

Are you staying in La Croisette, Les Bruyères, Reberty or another area of Les Menuires? You can reach Chez Pépé Nicolas on foot, by car, by bike, by bus or on skis, depending on the season. The restaurant is located just off the road between Les Menuires and Val Thorens, with parking just a few minutes’ walk away.

Access from Val Thorens

From Val Thorens, Chez Pépé Nicolas is accessible by car, on foot, by mountain bike, on snowshoes, by bus, on skis when conditions permit, or by private winter shuttle when the La Chasse slope is closed. It’s the ideal address for a high-altitude restaurant in the heart of the 3 Vallées ski area.

Driving from the valley

A43 freeway to Albertville.

On leaving Albertville, take the Moûtiers road (26 km), then exit at junction 40, direction
vallée des Belleville, and head for Val Thorens.

After crossing the Les Menuires resort, the third hairpin bend leads to Chez Pépé Nicolas.

Large parking lot nearby, then 10 minutes’ walk.
If the large parking lot in the hairpin bend is full, there’s another parking lot a few minutes’ walk from the restaurant on the road to Val Thorens.

Coming by bus

From the bus stations in the villages of Vallée des Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, a free shuttle bus will take you to the large parking lot just a 10-minute walk from our Chez Pépé Nicolas chalet: ask for the “La Chasse” stop.

Coming by bike

Chez Pépé Nicolas is easy to reach by bike, either by road or by dedicated DH or Enduro cycle paths. We also have a parking area for mountain bikes and VTCs, with charging stations for electric bikes, free of charge for our customers.

Access depending on the season

Summer access

In summer, arriving at Chez Pépé Nicolas is already part of the experience. From Les Menuires or Val Thorens, the route can be taken on foot or by bike to enjoy the scenery of the Vallée des Belleville, by car to the nearest parking lot, or by shuttle bus to the “La Chasse” stop.

On arrival, it’s a short walk to the chalet, the
terraces, the high-altitude garden and the alpine farm.

Winter access

In winter, Chez Pépé Nicolas becomes a real high-altitude restaurant at the foot of the 3 Vallées ski area, between Les Menuires and Val Thorens. Depending on the opening of the La Chasse red run, access is by ski, free private shuttle, car or bus.

Access for people with disabilities

We invite disabled guests to contact us at the time of booking.

During the winter season, this enables us to organize their arrival and transfer them to the restaurant entrance in our specially adapted vehicle, in the best possible conditions of comfort and safety.

During the summer season, as the road is passable, it is possible to access the restaurant entrance directly with your own vehicle, provided you inform us in advance.
