What are your opening hours?
We welcome you every day starting at 10:00 a.m. Lunch service begins at 11:30 a.m., with the last order taken at 2:30 p.m.
In the afternoon, enjoy our terrace for a gourmet treat from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
For dinner (except Sundays), service begins at 6:30 PM, and the last reservations are accepted at 9:30 PM.
How do I reserve a table at Chez Pépé Nicolas?

Once your request has been processed, you will receive an e-mail requesting a bank guarantee to secure your reservation (no direct debit will be made, this is not a prepayment).
A few days before your arrival, a message or e-mail will be sent to you to reconfirm your reservation.
Can I take part in the fireworks without a reservation?

Can I come without a reservation?
In high season, we strongly recommend that you make a reservation. This will also save you time on arrival.
How can I change or cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your reservation up to 6 hours before your arrival.
In the event of late cancellation (less than 6 hours in advance), 50% of the amount of the print may be retained (unless proof is provided). In the event of no-show, 100% of the amount of the print will be charged.
Do you offer vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes, vegetarian and vegan options are available.

How can I get to Chez Pépé Nicolas from Les Menuires or Val Thorens?
To get to Chez Pépé Nicolas, you have several options: on foot, by bike (with the option to charge your electric bikes for free if you’re a customer), by shuttle, or by car—parking is available at the “La Chasse” parking lot.

Can I ride my bike to Chez Pépé Nicolas?
Chez Pépé Nicolas is easy to reach by bike, either by road or by dedicated downhill or enduro cycle paths. We also have a video-monitored parking area for bikes, separate from the farm. Here you’ll findcharging stations for electric bikes (free for our customers). and anti-theft devices (available on request).
How do I get to Chez Pépé Nicolas from the 3 Vallées?
In summer, you can reach Chez Pépé Nicolas from the Trois Vallées ski area , either by road or by lift.
If you’re arriving from Méribel, you can take the Tougnète 1 gondola and then the Tougnète 2 gondola in the same direction. These lifts are open from July 4 to August 29, every day of the week, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please check the opening times on the tourist office websites before coming.
Once at altitude, you can reach Chez Pépé Nicolas via the DH1 (Easy Rider), DH5 (Kiss Cool) and DH12 (Jumpy) trails, before rejoining the main road that takes you directly to the restaurant.
Are pets welcome?
Of course, we would be delighted to welcome you and your pets. As farm animals also live on our estate, we would be grateful if you could keep them on a leash to ensure everyone’s peace and safety.
Can I bring a stroller?
In summer, it’s easy to get there with a baby carriage, especially from the “La Chasse” parking lot.
In winter, we recommend that you use a child-friendly sled, as it’s more practical in the snow.
What is there to do near Chez Pépé Nicolas?
Chez Pépé Nicolas is the perfect starting point for a day in the mountains. You can enjoy a wide range of activities:
- Discover our alpine farm and our permaculture garden.
- Take a guided tour of our mountain pasture and visit our permaculture garden, watch the goats being milked, or join us for our themed evenings.
- Introduce your children to life on the mountain pasture with our workshops “Little Farmers” and “Come Feed the Farm Animals.”

- Take a gourmet break on the patio or visit our shop featuring local products and crafts.
- Hike the trails, visit Lac du Lou, explore the mountain bike trails, or enjoy the 3 Vallées ski lifts in the summer.

How can I take part in guided tours of the mountain pastures?
To take part in our activities, we invite you to book online via the dedicated button.
The guided tour lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It begins at 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday during the summer season. You’ll learn about life on the mountain pastures, meet the farm animals, explore our permaculture garden, visit the old-fashioned chalet, and discover the secrets behind how we make our cheeses, before wrapping up with a friendly tasting. Tours suitable for children are also available.
Do you offer child-friendly activities?
The farm is a place for families to spend time together: children are, of course, welcome here. We offer a variety of activities designed just for them.
- L’Atelier des Petits Fermiers: Help milk the goats, learn about farming, clean up the area after milking, and equipment is provided. Book here.
- The ” Come Feed the Farm Animals ” workshop: Children feed calves, kids, poultry, rabbits, and pigs while learning about their daily lives. Book here.
- The special guided tour for kids: an age-appropriate tour of our mountain pasture, led by a guide certified by the BAFA. Book here.
On site, you’ll also find a playground that is supervised during lunch service for restaurant guests
Can we visit the farm for free?
You are welcome to wander freely around the farm and explore the animals, the permaculture garden, and the grounds, while respecting the property and the animals.
If you’d like a more immersive experience, we also offer a guided tour that includes a tour of the farm, the old-fashioned cottage, the garden, and the cheese-making process, as well as a tasting of our products.
Certain activities, such as goat milking, are reserved for our guests or available by reservation.
What time are the goats milked?
Hand milking of goats takes place between 3:30 and 4:30 pm, in front of the dairy. This activity is reserved for our customers or available by reservation.

Can children take part in the tour?
The tour of the permaculture garden is open only to adults and teenagers who are curious to learn about the principles of permaculture and biodiversity.

- Ceremony: 250 outdoors or 150 indoors.
