The restaurant will be open from November 28, 2026, to April 25, 2027.
Lunch hours: 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Dinner hours: 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This winter, the restaurant will be closed on Sunday evenings.

Once you’ve submitted your request through our website, you’ll receive an email asking you to provide a bank guarantee to secure your reservation (no charges will be made; this is not a prepayment).
A few days before your arrival, you’ll receive a message or email to reconfirm your reservation.

How can I change or cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your reservation up to 6 hours before your arrival.
In the event of a late cancellation (less than 6 hours in advance), 50% of the guaranteed amount may be retained.
In the event of a no-show, 100% of the pre-authorized amount will be charged.
Can I come without a reservation?
In high season, we strongly recommend that you make a reservation. This will also save you time on arrival.

If we do not hear from you within 30 minutes, we reserve the right to offer the table to other guests.

The Chez Pépé Nicolas restaurant offers a shuttle service. You can board the shuttle at the pickup point near the Cairn-Caron gondola stations in Val Thorens, close to the road leading to the P4 parking lot.

In winter and summer:
To get to Chez Pépé Nicolas, you have several options: by shuttle or by car, with parking available at the “La Chasse” parking lot.
During the summer season:
On foot or by bike (with the option to charge your electric bikes for free if you’re a customer).

Can I bring a stroller?
In winter, the staff at Chez Pépé Nicolas do not recommend bringing a stroller due to the snow and the high-altitude terrain (at 2,000 meters between Les Menuires and Val Thorens).
Recommended alternative: It’s better to use a sled designed for children, which is much more practical in the snow.
Seasonal note: Easy access with a stroller is only possible during the summer months (via the pedestrian path from the La Chasse parking lot).
Are pets welcome?

The walk up from the parking lot to the restaurant is very gentle and takes about 10 minutes, and the path is dotted with little surprises to make it enjoyable.

What is Chez Pépé Nicolas' capacity?
Our capacity varies depending on the setup of your event:
- Cocktail: up to 120 people indoors, or 250 outdoors (also possible indoors with marquees).
- Seated meals: up to 110 people.
- Ceremony: 250 outdoors or 150 indoors.
We can also consider setting up the event in a tent, depending on your project. The breakdown between adults and children will allow us to tailor the layout of the spaces accordingly.
Is it possible to plan a wedding in the winter?
Yes, we host weddings and private events in both winter and summer. In winter, our indoor spaces allow you to host your reception in a warm setting. A backup plan can be arranged in case of snow or inclement weather, subject to indoor capacity limits. We’ll work with you to plan guest access and transportation based on the conditions and schedule of your event.

Can we organize a corporate seminar?
Yes, Chez Pépé Nicolas hosts seminars, business lunches, and corporate events. Various formats are available: meetings, presentations, cocktail receptions, buffets, or sit-down dinners. The Théâtre Alpain, the terraces, and the indoor rooms can be used depending on the season and the number of participants. Please specify any technical requirements and necessary equipment in your request so that we can confirm their feasibility.
Do you offer vegetarian or allergy-friendly menu options?
Vegetarian menus and certain dietary accommodations can be discussed with our chef. It is essential that you inform us in advance of any allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements. Depending on the constraints and the risk of cross-contamination, some requests may not be possible. We will confirm the options available when we are finalizing the menu.

How can I take part in guided tours of the mountain pastures?
To take part in our activities, we invite you to book online via the dedicated button.
The guided tour lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It begins at 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday during the summer season. You’ll discover life in the mountain pastures, the farm animals, our permaculture garden, the old-fashioned chalet, and the secrets behind our cheese-making, before wrapping up with a friendly tasting. Tours suitable for children are also available.
Do you offer child-friendly activities?
The farm is a place for families to spend time together: children are, of course, welcome here. We offer a variety of activities designed just for them.
- L’Atelier des Petits Fermiers: Help milk the goats, learn about farming, clean up the area after milking, and equipment is provided. Book here.
- The ” Come Feed the Farm Animals ” workshop: Children feed calves, kids, poultry, rabbits, and pigs while learning about their daily lives. Book here.
- The special guided tour for kids: an age-appropriate tour of our mountain pasture, led by a guide certified by the BAFA. Book here.
On site, you’ll also find a playground that is supervised during lunch service for restaurant guests
Can we visit the farm for free?
You are welcome to wander freely around the farm and explore the animals, the permaculture garden, and the grounds, while respecting the property and the animals.
If you’d like a more immersive experience, we also offer a guided tour that includes a tour of the farm, the old-fashioned cottage, the garden, and the cheese-making process, as well as a tasting of our products.
Certain activities, such as goat milking, are reserved for our guests or available by reservation.
What time are the goats milked?
Manual milking of the goats takes place between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in front of the dairy. This activity is reserved for our customers or available by reservation.

When can I start visiting the altitude garden?
During the summer season, you can visit our permaculture garden as soon as our restaurant opens.
The garden is covered in snow during the winter, and the team gets back to work every spring so you can enjoy its harvest.

Every Thursday during the summer season, we offer a guided tour of the garden at 10:30 a. m.
