Fresh fruits and vegetables for the Val Thorens restaurant
Throughout the summer, the garden provides the Chez Pépé Nicolas restaurant with fresh produce; a little colorful paradise to visit absolutely!
Like any mountaineer, Chez Pépé Nicolas has his vegetable garden, maintained every summer for the pleasure of all! But the team went further by developing an educational alpine floral and vegetable garden that combines fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. The ensemble was created in collaboration with the herbalists gardeners of Château de Miolans in Saint-Pierre d'Albigny between Chambéry and Albertville in Savoie.
Chef Martial Vuillemin takes advantage of fresh products freshly spooned in the garden to decorate his dishes. Nothing like a sprig of thyme or clusters of "high" gooseberries at 1800 meters altitude to raise the freshness of a signature dish and spice up the taste buds!
